Andrea also has experience as a UX/UI Instructor & Mentor at GW Boot Camps, where they provided guidance and instruction to students. Andrea Velázquez Sánchez began their education in 1991 at Instituto Satélite, where they completed their Escuela Secundaria. From 1993 to 1996, they attended La Salle Preparatoria, where they obtained their Bachiller degree in Middle Education. In 1996, they enrolled at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and pursued a Título Profesional - BA Degree in Graphic Design and Audiovisual Communication, which they completed in 2001.

During their time at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Andrea also undertook master level studies in Photography at Centro de Excelencia Educacional Kodak México, from 1999 to 2001, although the program was non-certified.

In addition to their formal education, Andrea obtained several certifications. In January 2013, they became an Adobe Certified Expert in Illustrator CC and also acquired the Adobe Certified Instructor title. In August 2015, they added the Adobe Certified Expert - InDesign CC certification to their credentials. In November 2015, they achieved the Adobe Certified Expert - Dreamweaver CC certification. Following this, in September 2016, they earned the Adobe Certified Web Specialist title. Most recently, in January 2017, they received a Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation.
