Matei David

Matei David started their work experience in 2015 as a Web Design Intern at Indot Studio, where they gained skills in responsive web development and implemented JQuery and JavaScript solutions. Matei then worked as a Software Development Intern at Olytico in 2017, where they developed tools and automated data processing tasks. In 2018, they were a Software Development Engineer Intern at Expedia Group. In 2020, Matei joined CNCF as a CommunityBridge Mentee and later joined Expedia Group as an Associate Software Developer, focusing on providing a frictionless developer journey and working on integrating Backstage. Currently, Matei is working as a Software Engineer at Buoyant, Inc.

Matei David obtained a Bachelor's Degree in B.Sc. Computer Science with Business Management from the University of Birmingham. In addition to their formal education, they have earned several certifications, including Speaker: KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2021 from The Linux Foundation, The Web Developer Bootcamp from Udemy, BCG Hackathon: Hacking Homelessness from BCG Digital Ventures, and EU Scholarship - Android Development for Beginners from Udacity.
