Philipp Brunner

Philipp Brunner is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors, including telecommunications and media. Currently serving as COO, CFO, and Managing Director (CEO CHIP) at BurdaForward since November 2018, Philipp previously held the CEO position at CHIP prior to its merger into BurdaForward. Experience includes tenure as Vice President of Cable B2C Product Management at Vodafone Kabel Deutschland, where Philipp held P&L responsibility for multiple cable-based products, as well as serving as Head of B2C Product Management TV at Kabel Deutschland. Philipp began a career in management consulting at Oliver Wyman, achieving early promotions while specializing in telco, media, and automotive sectors. Educational qualifications include an MBA from INSEAD and an advanced course from Harvard Business School focused on strategic CFO practices, alongside a diploma in Finance and Business Mathematics from the Technical University of Munich.
