Ciara Kennedy has extensive experience in social care, particularly in working with children and young people in various settings. Currently serving as a Youth Worker at The BURDEKIN Association since July 2020, Ciara has also held positions such as Community Rehabilitation Support Worker at Neami National and Residential Support Worker at Stretch-A-Family. Prior experience includes serving as a Social Care Worker at Fresh Start and a Student Social Care Worker during a placement at Holy Angels Day Care Centre. Ciara's educational background includes a B.A. Honours in Applied Social Studies in Social Care and a B.A. in Applied Social Studies in Social Care, both from St Patrick's College, Carlow, along with a Leaving Certificate from St. Leos College, Carlow.

Burdekin is an independent not-for-profit organisation that works with young people and their families in the community, to prevent homelessness, provide safe housing and support wellbeing.
