Melissa D'Andrea

Melissa D'Andrea, BSW/CYW, currently serves as an Integrated Ontario Works Benefits Caseworker for York Region since January 2020 and has been a Child and Youth Worker at Humber River Hospital since April 2017. D'Andrea possesses extensive experience in crisis intervention, therapeutic group leadership, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams while working with children and adolescents across various settings, including schools and healthcare institutions. Previous roles include Child and Youth Worker positions at York Region District School Board and Toronto District School Board, where responsibilities included providing support for child abuse incidents, developing training programs, and maintaining confidential records. D'Andrea holds a Bachelor of Social Work Honours from York University and a Child Youth Worker - Honours designation from Humber College.
