Amanda Lyndaker has a diverse and extensive work experience primarily in the Bureau of Economic Analysis and the U.S. Census Bureau. Beginning in 2005, they started as a Summer Intern at the U.S. Census Bureau. Amanda then joined the Bureau of Economic Analysis in 2006 as an Economist and held this position until 2010. From 2010 to 2015, Amanda served as a Program Manager and later as the Chief of the Input-Output Statistics Branch at the Bureau of Economic Analysis. In 2016, they transitioned to the role of Deputy Chief Information Officer, where they managed various IT projects, budgeting, and strategic planning. In 2021, Amanda briefly served as the Acting Chief Information Officer.
Amanda Lyndaker has a strong educational background with a Master's degree in Applied Economics from The Johns Hopkins University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics & Economics, Statistics from St. Lawrence University. This degree was obtained between 2002 and 2006.
