Jun Xu

Jun Xu is a Supervisory Physical Scientist at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing since February 2022. Previously, Jun Xu served as a Sr. Material Program Manager at the United States Postal Service from October 2019 to January 2022 and held the position of Director of Materials Development at Xerium Technologies, Inc. from March 2011 to September 2019, where responsibilities included managing product development projects with annual sales exceeding $10 million. Earlier in Jun Xu's career, roles included Senior Chemist - Rubber Development Manager and Materials Scientist at Pixelligent Technologies, LLC from January 2008 to March 2011. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Iowa State University, a Master's in Polymer Chemistry from Mississippi State University, and a Bachelor's in Materials Science from East China University of Science and Technology.
