Kermit Smith

Kermit Smith possesses extensive experience in information technology and security, with a current role as an Information Technology Specialist and Physical Security Specialist at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing since June 2018. Prior to this, Kermit served in the US Air Force Reserve from January 1992 to February 2022 as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Technician. Experience includes supporting the US Attorney's Office at the U.S. Department of Justice from May 2009 to June 2018 and various technical and engineering roles, including Acting as an Incident Manager at First Horizon National Corporation and an Engineering Technician at the FAA. A solid educational foundation includes multiple associate degrees from Southern University of Shreveport and the Community College of the Air Force, focusing on aerospace ground equipment and electronic technology.
