Michael Ross

Michael Ross is an experienced Information Technology Specialist currently serving with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security / Customs and Border Protection since December 2010, where responsibilities include leading the enterprise's digital certificate management team and overseeing a significant internal PKI. Previously, Michael worked as a Subject Matter Expert for CompTIA from March 2012 to February 2019, contributing to cloud computing and information security certification exam workshops. Michael's earlier roles include Project Manager at Total Living Construction, Inc., where project management responsibilities were handled, and Client Services Manager at Coyle & Associates, Inc., where a just-in-time inventory management process was developed. Michael began the professional journey as an Administrative Assistant at the Gates Millennium Scholars Program. Michael holds a Master of Science in Information Systems and Technology Management with a specialization in Information Assurance and Security and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a specialization in Project Management, both from Capella University.
