The Leadership Team at the Bureau of Indian Affairs is responsible for setting strategic direction, overseeing critical functions, and ensuring the effective implementation of the agency's mission to enhance the quality of life, promote economic opportunity, and protect the trust assets of American Indians, Indian tribes, and Alaska Natives. This team comprises key personnel such as Chiefs of various branches including Agriculture & Wildlife Management, Safety of Dams, Data, Geospatial Support, Fish, Wildlife & Recreation, Internal Affairs, and Information Services, all collaborating to guide policy, manage resources, and support tribal self-determination efforts.
