Tara Karoor - Developer/Data Analyst

Tara Karoor is a seasoned Developer and Data Analyst with extensive experience in software engineering and data analytics. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at the Bureau of Labor Statistics since November 2022, Tara focuses on designing and maintaining SAS applications for processing Consumer Expenditure survey data. Prior experience includes working as a Lead Developer/Data Analyst at CCGroup Inc., where Tara developed programs to analyze patient claims data and evaluate healthcare performance. Additionally, as a Sr SAS Developer/Data Analyst at the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Tara utilized analytics tools to address business inquiries and worked as a SAS Developer/Financial Data Analyst at USAA, supporting data analysis projects. Tara holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kansas State University.
