Alex Frey

Alex Frey is an experienced archaeologist currently employed by the Bureau of Land Management since June 2020. Frey previously served as a Tribal Archaeologist for the Sauk-Suiattle Indian Tribe and as an Assistant Field Crew Leader for the Wisconsin Historical Society. Additional roles include Central Pricing Admin at Festival Foods and Database Designer for the University of Sheffield Medical School, where a database for Northern General Hospital staff was developed. Prior experience includes a Park Ranger Intern position at Canyon de Chelly National Monument, event support at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and a Student Excavator at the Ireland Archaeological Field School. Alex Frey holds a Master of Arts in Cultural Heritage Management from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
