Sharif Branham is currently the Assistant Director for Resources and Planning at the Bureau of Land Management, overseeing policy development and program oversight across various environmental areas. Previously, Sharif held several key leadership positions at the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service, including Acting Director of Partnerships for Climate Smart Commodities Small Grants Division and Director of the Conservation Planning and Technical Assistance Division, where national conservation planning policy was managed. Additional roles included leadership in various conservation programs and support for stewardship lands management. Earlier experience includes serving as Research Specialist at the University of Pennsylvania Center for Sleep and Respiratory Neurobiology. Academic credentials include a Master of Environmental Studies in Environmental Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Environmental Science from Stockton University.
