Michelle Wickham

Michelle Wickham is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic policy, procurement, and contract management within the public sector. Currently serving as the Manager of Strategy and Performance at the Bureau of Meteorology since April 2013, Michelle leads a team dedicated to developing the Bureau's strategy and enhancing business processes. Previous roles include acting as the Chief Procurement Officer and Acquisitions and Contracts Lead for significant projects, such as managing a $866 million program that improved the Bureau's operational resilience. Prior to the Bureau, Michelle held key commercial management positions at the Department of Health Victoria, overseeing major health infrastructure projects totaling over $1.25 billion. Michelle earned a Graduate Diploma in Law (Construction) from the University of Melbourne in 2009.
