Prakhar Goel

Prakhar Goel has over 17 years of work experience in the field of solutions architecture and technical leadership. Prakhar is currently working as a Solutions Architect and Technical Lead at the Bureau of Meteorology, where they lead the delivery of technical elements and ensures high-quality and low-maintenance solutions. Prior to this, they worked as a Solutions Architect for the Northern Territory Government, where they led the development and integration of biomedical devices and implemented an Electronic Medication Management system. Prakhar also provided technical assurance and reviewed vendor deliverables. Prakhar previously worked as a Technical Solution Architect at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and as an Application Consultant at COMRAD Australia Pty Ltd. Prakhar started their career at Fujifilm India Pvt. Ltd. as a Technical Solutions Lead, where they were responsible for solution design, development, architecture, implementation, and support. Prakhar also managed service delivery, mentored a team, and supervised field activities. Prakhar has prior experience as a Systems Engineer at Fujifilm Medical Systems and as a Field Service Engineer at Siemens.

Prakhar Goel completed their Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering at Monash University from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering - BE degree in Computer Science from Chaudhary Charan Singh University between 1997 and 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Prakhar Goel has obtained several certifications. In September 2020, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate through Amazon Web Services (AWS). Prakhar also completed the Advanced Architecting on AWS course at DDLS in September 2020.
