Steven Long

Steven Long is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project and delivery management, primarily within the financial services sector. Currently serving as a Senior Release Manager at the Bureau of Meteorology since August 2023, Steven previously held various leadership roles at ANZ from June 2008 to July 2022. Key accomplishments include spearheading the Lending Services Transformation project, which improved assessment strategies for customers facing financial difficulties, and developing innovative applications that leveraged automation for enhanced operational efficiency. Steven has demonstrated expertise in managing large cross-functional teams, aligning technology solutions with strategic goals, and implementing Agile methodologies. Prior to ANZ, Steven accumulated significant experience in IT delivery and programming across multiple organizations, including ITS Corporate Services and HIH Insurance, and holds degrees in Computer Science and Mathematical Sciences from Victoria University.
