Zahid Ahmad

Zahid Ahmad is a seasoned hydrogeology specialist and hydrologist with extensive experience at the Bureau of Meteorology since 2008, focusing on streamflow and rainfall data analysis, climate change trends, and project assessments under hydrology monitoring initiatives. Previously, Zahid contributed as a senior hydrologist at NESPAK in Pakistan, leading hydrological studies for major infrastructure projects, and served as a senior water resources engineer at Gilbert and Associates in Australia, where responsibilities included water balance studies and hydrologic modeling across various significant projects. Zahid holds an MS in Civil Engineering from The University of New Mexico and a Master of Philosophy in Hydrology from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
