Ayoub Soury

Ayoub Soury has a diverse work experience in the field of functional safety engineering and industrial communication networks. Ayoub currently works as a Project Manager - Lead Assessor at Bureau Veritas Group. Previously, they were a part-time teacher at ESIEE-IT Paris, where they taught modules related to industry 4.0. Ayoub also worked as a Project Functional Safety Manager at Seres Technologies and as a Lead Functional Safety Engineer at TRISKELL Consulting. Ayoub's earlier experience includes roles as a researcher at Grenoble INP - Esisar / LCIS & Université de Lorraine, a software engineer at KRONO-SAFE, and a research and development software engineer at Inria. Throughout their career, Ayoub has demonstrated expertise in functional safety, network protocols, and industrial control systems.

Ayoub Soury (Dr.-Eng.) completed an Engineering degree in Computer Science at ENSI - Ecole Nationale des Sciences de l'Informatique from 2007 to 2012. Ayoub then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Universite de Lorraine from 2012 to 2013. From 2014 to 2018, they attended Université Grenoble Alpes to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) with a focus on Networks and Cybersecurity, specifically safety approaches for real-time Ethernet. In 2023, Ayoub Soury enrolled in TÜV Rheinland Group Köln to become a Functional Safety Engineer, specializing in Hardware/Software Design according to IEC 61508.
