David Fawkes

David Fawkes is a highly experienced mechanical engineer currently serving as the Chief Mechanical Engineer at Bureau Veritas Group since March 2023. Previously, David held the position of Group Technical Authority at Associated British Ports from September 2019 to March 2023. Prior roles include serving as Technical Authority and Inspection Engineer at Axiom Engineering Associates Ltd from June 2014 to September 2019, and as HM Specialist Inspector (HSE) at the Health and Safety Executive from June 2010 to June 2015. David holds a 1st class Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bradford, awarded between 2006 and 2008.
