Mehlika Karakaş has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles in various companies. Mehlika started their career as a Quality Assurance Manager at Özyol Turizm İnşaat Tic. ve San. Ltd. Şti. from October 2000 to January 2003. Mehlika then joined Özmer Meyve Özleri as a Quality Assurance Manager from January 2003 to August 2004. Since August 2004, Mehlika has been working at Bureau Veritas, initially as a Food Product Manager, QHSE and Food Lead Auditor, Trainer. Mehlika later transitioned to the role of Technical Manager, QHSE and Food Lead Auditor, Trainer and finally as Operations and Technical Manager, QHSE and Food Lead Auditor, Trainer. Their responsibilities primarily included managing the audit process, conducting certification and second-party audits, and delivering training courses on quality and food safety management systems. Their expertise lies in international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 22000, and BRC Food.
