Ilya Podolskiy

Ilya Podolskiy, CPA, serves as Vice President of SOX Compliance & Head of Internal Audit at Burford Capital, where key achievements include establishing the Internal Audit Department, implementing a comprehensive SOX program, and leading cost-effective contract negotiations for audit tools. Ilya also holds positions as a Board Member for the American Board of Forensic Accounting, Coach Developer for USA Hockey, Lead Hockey Instructor for Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp., and President of Study Glut Inc. Previous experience includes roles as SOX Manager at SiriusPoint and Assured Guaranty, and Senior Auditor at Tokio Marine North America, with a strong background in SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit processes. Ilya holds a Master's in Taxation from Villanova University and a Bachelor's in Accounting from Hunter College, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
