The executive team at Burford Capital has a history of working in the legal field. Many members have worked as litigators at various firms, including Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. They also have experience working as assistant general counsels at companies such as Time Warner Inc. In addition, the team has many members who have gone through law school and have worked as law clerks at places such as Justice Stewart Pollock.
