Dilara K.

Dilara K. has worked at six different companies in total. Dilara started their career as a summer intern at Habertürk in 2018 and also interned there in 2019. In 2020, they worked as a content writer at FilGezi and in the same year, started working as a translator and editor at Habertürk, where they worked until June 2021. From June to November 2021, they worked as an English Channel specialist at Merzigo. Currently, they are working as a Jr. project manager at BURG Translations, Inc. starting from March 2022.

Dilara K. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Translation & Interpreting (English-Turkish) from Istanbul University from 2016-2020. In 2018, they briefly attended the Ionian University's Department of Foreign Languages, Translation&Interpreting. From 2020-2022, they pursued Communication and Media Studies at Anadolu University. Additionally, Dilara obtained several certifications: a Using TransTools and TransTools+ to Improve Your Translation Process certification from the American Translators Association in February 2023, an Introduction to memoQ 8 certification and a Project Management with memoQ 8 certification from memoQ in March 2022, a Workplace Communication and Social Behavior Rules certification from İstanbul Eğitimler in August 2021, Pedagogical Formation Certificate from Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa in August 2020, and Occupational Health and Safety Certificate from Istanbul University in 2019. Dilara was also a Volunteer Tourism Delegate for the Fatih Municipality, but it is unknown when they obtained that certification.
