Stuart Barr Mih

Stuart Barr MIH has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Stuart started their career at Grosvenor Thistle Hotel as an Assistant Junior Banqueting Manager from 1994 to 1996. Stuart then joined Phyllis Court, where they held various roles including Assistant Banqueting Manager, Conference and Banqueting Operations Manager, Assistant to the Club Manager, Operations Manager, and finally Club Manager/Head of Operations from 1996 to 2020. Currently, Stuart is the Head of Clubhouse Operations at Burhill Golf Club, where they have implemented recruitment processes, trained the team, restructured event planning, and achieved significant cost savings.

Stuart Barr MIH earned an HND in European Hospitality from the University of Plymouth (1991-1993). Prior to that, they pursued Hotel and Catering Studies at Croydon College (1989-1991). Stuart completed their secondary education at Riddlesdown High School (1984-1989). In addition, Stuart obtained the MDP Level 1 certification from the Club Managers Association of Europe in 2019.
