Ruth Schenning

Ruth joined Burlington Area School District in July 2012 as Business Manager. Previously, she held similar positions in the Palmyra-Eagle Area and Salem School Districts.

In her position, Ruth works with the administrative team and board to oversee the financial operations of the District. This includes the District’s budget, human resources administration, and mandatory reporting.

She received her Master of Science in Education (School Business Management) from UW-Whitewater and her Bachelor of Arts (Accounting and Business Administration) from Carthage College. She also earned credits in the Administrative Assistant Program at Gateway Technical College. She is certified as a School Business Manager and as a Public Accountant.
