Katie Ellett

Katie joined Burness in June 2021, as a digital coordinator. As a member of the digital team, she provides overall digital support for various clients by drafting social media copy, developing digital reports, editing videos, and more.

Katie graduated summa cum laude from Old Dominion University (ODU), Norfolk, VA, in May 2021, with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and sports management. She competed on its Division 1 swim team, and was the Social Media/Marketing Co-Chair of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, where she used the platform to give each student-athlete a voice.

In addition to her student-athlete commitment, she was also an active member of ODU’s student chapter of the American Marketing Association and held multiple marketing jobs with ODU’s Recreation and Wellness department to promote health and wellness opportunities to students, staff, and the surrounding community.
