Alexandra Head

Alexandra (Ali) Head is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in research, policy, and program support focused on women's issues and health. Currently serving as a Research Assistant for Menstrual Health at Burnet Institute since April 2022, Ali has previously held significant roles such as Policy Officer at the Aged Care Workforce Industry Council and Regional Gender Support Officer at Helen Keller International. In this latter position, Ali provided technical guidance for the gender-transformative curriculum of the Enhanced Homestead Food Production program in Cambodia. Education includes a Master's Degree in International Relations from the University of Melbourne, alongside other qualifications in business sales and interior architecture. Ali's experience is further complemented by roles in communications, events, and fundraising across various organizations.
