Blake Ellis

Blake Ellis serves as Principal at Burns & McDonnell, leading the Kansas City office of the OnSite Energy & Power group since March 2003, focusing on energy solutions for dense campus environments. In addition, Blake holds the position of Director at Large on the ASHRAE Board of Directors and has previously chaired the Combined Heat and Power Technical Committee. Blake has a history of leadership within the Kansas City ASHRAE Chapter, serving as President and Chapter Historian, and has also been a Director and Region IX Chair for ASHRAE. Prior experience includes serving as Principal at Ellerbe Becket from 1990 to 2003. Blake earned an MBA in Finance and a BME in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
