Mark Tucker has extensive experience in ecological project management and mitigation banking, currently serving as the National Mitigation Banking Design and Entitlement Lead for Burns & McDonnell since April 2015. In this role, Mark focuses on the identification, evaluation, design, permitting, and marketing of conservation and wetland mitigation bank projects. Prior positions include Biological Resources Team Manager at URS Corporation and Senior Ecologist at Environmental Science Associates, where responsibilities included project management and restoration planning across multiple counties in California. Mark has also worked in various capacities as an independent consultant, senior scientist, and regulatory project manager, demonstrating a strong background in environmental science and regulatory processes. Mark holds a Master's degree in Geography and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Diego State University.
