Barry Hofer

Barry Hofer is an accomplished finance and business professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. As the Founder and President of Blue World Insight, LLC since June 2019, Barry specializes in finance and business advisory services for private companies and non-profits focused on environmental issues. In addition to this role, Barry serves as a Limited Partner at both Burnt Island Ventures and Groove Capital, where the emphasis is on investing in innovative water-focused entrepreneurs and accelerating impactful products and services. Previously, Barry held significant positions such as VP of Finance at Optum and Northwest Airlines, and served on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer for Great River Greening. Barry's educational background includes an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Finance/Accounting from Kansas State University, supplemented by a Mini MBA in Non-Profit Management from the University of St. Thomas.
