Helena Carless

Helena Carless is an accomplished professional with over two decades of experience in marketing, communications, and environmental engagement. Currently serving as Associate Director for Global Thought Leadership at Buro Happold since January 2024, Helena has previously held significant roles including Head of Marketing and Communications at the UK Green Building Council and Director of Marketing and Engagement at WWF. Helena's career began at Emirates Nature-WWF, evolving from Communications Director, while also managing business and government outreach at the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi. Additionally, Helena has a diverse background in consulting and client services with various marketing firms. Helena's educational credentials include a BSC Hons in Marketing from Lancaster University, along with several executive education programs focused on digital strategies and leadership.
