Sebastiano Scacchetti

Sebastiano Scacchetti is an Associate Director at Buro Happold, specializing in transport planning and mobility since October 2019. Concurrently, Sebastiano serves as a lecturer for the Master in City & Technology at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, focusing on the integration of data science and urban design. Previous roles include Senior Transport Planner at Jacobs and Senior Consulting Engineer at MobilityInChain, where expertise in GIS spatial modeling and international transport projects was developed. Sebastiano co-founded BikeDistrict, promoting sustainable mobility through participatory urban planning, and has a background in GIS research at Università degli Studi di Siena. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Industrial Ecology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
