Kevin Leiter

Kevin Leiter is the COO at Burro. Prior to joining Burro, Kevin spent six years at TE Connectivity where they served as Senior Manager - Channel Strategy & Business Development. In this role, Kevin was responsible for developing and operationalizing TE Connectivity's distribution strategies to achieve business objectives around revenue growth, customer base expansion, market share gain, customer experience, and cost improvements.

Previously, Kevin worked at Tesla for three years as Senior Program Manager of New Product Introduction - Tesla Energy and Model S/X Battery Pack. In this role, Kevin managed the development and introduction of new stationary energy storage and high voltage battery products and systems into the existing operational environment as Tesla continued to expand across new product lines and geographies.

At Tesla, Kevin led cross-functional teams to ensure engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain validation targets have been met in accordance with product launch timelines. Kevin was also personally responsible for critical pre-production build management, product validation, factory readiness, SIOP, product life-cycle management, and successful tactical implementation of the program into production. Some of their accomplishments include launching two generations of Tesla Energy products and three production facilities to enable 30x growth in manufacturing throughput and program sales over a three year period.

Kevin Leiter has a Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management, a Master of Science in Engineering Systems - Supply Chain and Production Systems from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
