Giancarlo Otárola Robledo

Giancarlo Otárola Robledo has extensive experience in software engineering. Giancarlo began their career in 2015 as a Front-end Developer at FieldBeat, where they built the first version of the web application for the clients. In 2016, they joined Redd System as a Front-end Developer, where they were later appointed Front-end Team Leader. During this time, they were responsible for migrating the company's web applications from one technology to another and solving bugs or adding new features to the old platform. In 2017, they joined Groupon as a Software Engineer and was in charge of transitioning from Groupon Inc to Groupon Latam. In 2018, Giancarlo worked at both Fleek and Peixe, where they were a Frontend Software Development and Architecture and a Mobile Software Engineer, respectively. In 2021, they joined Evernote as a Senior Software Engineer and is currently working at Burrow as a Senior Software Engineer since 2022.

Giancarlo Otárola Robledo obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Sciences from the Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana between 2010 and 2015. In 2021, they obtained an OpenJS Node.js Services Developer certification from the OpenJS Foundation and in 2022, they obtained an OpenJS Foundation: JavaScriptLandia certification from The Linux Foundation.
