Shaila Manyam

Shaila Manyam serves as Executive Vice President and Managing Director for Global Corporate and Public Affairs at Burson since October 2022, where responsibilities include leading client initiatives in global health, oncology policy, ESG, and international public affairs while managing a multi-million dollar practice. Prior to this role, Shaila Manyam held various senior positions at Burson-Marsteller, focusing on healthcare and crisis communications, and served as an Arabic Language Fellow for the Government of the Sultanate of Oman. Shaila Manyam's extensive experience in governmental affairs includes serving as Special Assistant for International Organization Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, where advisory work involved UN matters and international relations. Previous roles also included economic and cultural advisory positions at several U.S. embassies, encompassing diverse areas such as counterterrorism financing and media relations. Shaila Manyam holds an MSc from The London School of Economics and Political Science and an AB (Honors) from Smith College.
