Laura Murphy RDH

Laura Murphy RDH has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Laura started their career in 1995 as a Certified Oral Surgery Assistant and RDA/CODA at Murray Kaufman DDS, MD. Laura then worked as an Owner/Partner at Murphy Photo Inc from 1995 to 2010. Following this, Laura worked at CROP Natural Soap Company as a creator of organic beauty products from 2007 to 2016. In 2014, they became a Registered Dental Hygienist at Kevin Sands, DDS, where they worked until 2020. From 2018 to 2021, Laura worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist at Thomas Hirsch DDS. Currently, they are employed at Burst Oral Care, where they hold the position of Office Specialist and Black Diamond Level Brand Ambassador.

Laura Murphy RDH has a strong educational background in the field of dental hygiene and assisting. Laura earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Dental Hygiene/Hygienist from West Los Angeles College, completing their studies in 2000. Prior to that, in 1995, they obtained a Registered Dental Assistant certification from the College of Marin. In 1996, Laura furthered their education by receiving Dental Anesthesia Assistant Certification from AAOMS and completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant Certification from the Southern California Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

In addition to their formal education, Laura has pursued further certifications to enhance their skills. Laura obtained a Dental Radiology Certification in 1993 from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Laura also received a Certification in Laser Dentistry - Standard Proficiency from BIOLASE, Inc. in July 2017. Furthermore, Laura holds a Registered Dental Hygienist certification from West Los Angeles College, awarded in June 2000.
