Emily Bean

Emily Bean is an experienced professional in youth entrepreneurship education and community investment, currently serving as the Director of Youth Entrepreneurship Education and Program Officer at the Burton D. Morgan Foundation since October 2014. Prior to this role, Emily held the position of Community Investment Officer at the Akron Community Foundation from June 2010 to October 2014, where responsibilities included managing grant processes and supporting community initiatives. Additionally, Emily served as Program Supervisor for the Early Childhood Initiative at the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority, focusing on fundraising and program management. Earlier in the career, Emily worked as a Marketing Specialist at Proforma, overseeing direct mail campaigns. Emily holds a Master of Arts in Human Development & Family Studies and a Bachelor of Science in the same field, both from Kent State University.
