Melissa Hines

Melissa Hines has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Melissa currently holds the position of VP of Human Resources at Burton Oil Service Operations, where they started in April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Human Resources Manager at Jasper Ventures, Inc. from May 2018 to March 2023, where they provided guidance and support to managers on HR programs and processes. Melissa also worked as a Sr Human Resources Business Partner at the same company from June 2017 to May 2018, where they were involved in recruiting activities and partnered with hiring managers for staffing needs.

Before joining Jasper Ventures, Melissa worked at CenturyLink as a Sr Compensation Analyst from May 2015 to December 2016, where they supervised and mentored Compensation Analysts and provided compensation recommendations. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Methodist Healthcare as a Compensation Analyst. Melissa has also held the position of Sr Human Resources Business Partner at LSG Sky Chefs from December 2005 to June 2011, where they educated managers on HR programs and processes and provided coaching during difficult situations.

In addition, Melissa worked as a Compensation Consultant at Menzies Aviation from February 2006 to June 2007, where they analyzed and evaluated compensation programs. Melissa also worked as a District Human Resources Generalist at Sherwin Williams from August 2004 to August 2005, where they provided strategic guidance on people and organizational issues. Melissa's earlier work experience includes roles such as Human Resources Generalist at BCD Travel from September 2001 to June 2003 and Compensation Analyst at Charter One Bank from July 1999 to August 2001.

Melissa Hines, MJ-LEL, holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Akron, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. Melissa later pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Columbia College from 2006 to 2013. Additionally, Melissa earned a Master of Jurisprudence in Labor and Employment Law from Tulane University Law School between 2019 and 2021.
