Anita Alur

Anita Alur is a PhD candidate in Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley, following the completion of a Master of Public Policy at the same institution. With experience as a Research Assistant at Busara, Anita contributed to behavioral science research under the guidance of Dr. Ashley Whillans. A consultant at Proximity Designs, Anita conducted data analysis for digital campaigns and developed a comprehensive Master's Thesis. Previous roles include a Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley, a Results Management Fellow for the State of Minnesota's Impact Evaluation Unit, and a Policy Consultant for Oakland Thrives. Prior to these positions, Anita held various content strategy and intern roles at Facebook and Cornell University Press. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Cornell University and a study abroad program at King's College London.
