Sebastian Mwalya

Sebastian Mwalya is a skilled researcher with extensive experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and data collection within various organizations. Currently serving as a researcher at the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics since March 2020, Sebastian previously held the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Supervisor at Plan International from June 2021 to July 2023, where responsibilities included M&E planning, developing strategic frameworks, and supporting proposal development. Earlier roles included Research Assistant at the Busara Center, where Sebastian collected and analyzed data, and Research Officer at the World Agroforestry Center, focusing on qualitative and quantitative data collection during an Endline Survey. Additionally, Sebastian worked as a KCHIC Supervisor for the County Government of Kitui, overseeing registration processes. Sebastian holds a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and Biotechnology from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, obtained in 2017.
