Matt Armstrong, MBA

Matt Armstrong, MBA has over 10 years of experience in the finance and business operations industry. In 2015, they began their career as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Hotwire, where they managed the long-term financial planning, analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting. In 2016, they were appointed as the Head of Finance at CarRentals.com. In 2017, they joined Revinate as the Vice President of Finance and Business Operations, where they established financial management strategy and sophisticated policies and procedures for finance and operations. In 2019, they were appointed as the Global Head of Strategic Finance, Community Operations and Insurance at Uber, where they owned financial strategy and execution for the division with a $3B+ annual budget. In 2020, they became the Founder & CEO of Prevoira Inc., a boutique consultancy focused on helping businesses improve their financial and operational health. Matt also held roles as an Advisor at Tribe Community Platform and Syndesus, Inc. In 2022, they were appointed as the VP of Finance at Busbud and VP of Finance at Clearco.

Matt Armstrong, MBA has an extensive educational background. Matt holds a CMA (inactive) from the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario, an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University, an M.Math in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, a B.Math in Double Honors Combinatorics and Optimization & Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and a BA in Speech Communication (Communications) from the University of Waterloo. Additionally, they have certifications in CMA and CPA from the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario and the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario) respectively.
