Kevin Harris has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Kevin began their career in the US Navy and Naval Reserve Corps as an Avionic Technician, serving during the Persian Gulf War. After their military service, Kevin worked at Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock as an Automated Welding and Robotics Technician. Kevin then moved on to BAE (Norshipco) as an Electrical Mechanical Technician before transitioning to Mitsubishi Chemical America. At Mitsubishi Chemical America, Kevin held various roles including Electrical & Controls Supervisor/Project Engineer and Plant Engineer/Maintenance Manager.
In 2006, Kevin joined Mitsubi Kagaku Imaging Corporation as a Facility Manager, overseeing the facility engineering and maintenance functions. Kevin later moved on to Busch Vacuum Pumps and Systems, where they took on roles as an Electrical Engineering Manager and National Industrial Service Director. Kevin's next endeavor was at Kerneos, where they served as a Maintenance Manager.
Currently, Kevin is working at Busch Vacuum Solutions, starting as the Systems Electrical Engineering Manager & Change Management Program Lead and later promoted to Engineering Manager and Vice President - Systems. Kevin is responsible for developing strategic plans, overseeing system engineering projects, managing engineering teams, and implementing change management strategies.
Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated leadership skills, technical expertise, and a track record of driving efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Kevin Harris completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Norfolk State University, graduating in 1992. In addition, they obtained the certification of CPMM (Certified Plant Maintenance Manager) from the Association for Facilities Engineering in June 2003.
