Alex Trakas has a diverse work experience in various industries. Alex started their career at Gap Inc as a Stock Associate in 2007. Alex then worked as a Market Research Associate and Assistant to the Program Manager at DePaul University from 2008 to 2011, where they conducted competitive analytics and assisted with course scheduling and registration.
In 2011, Alex joined PNC as a Marketing Assistant and played a key role in increasing branch traffic through local marketing programs. Alex also managed events for realtor prospects and developed promotional marketing materials for loan officers.
From 2019 to 2020, Alex worked as a Business Development Coordinator at OPTO International, Inc. Retail Displays. In this role, they assisted in company growth and development initiatives.
In 2020, they joined UNFI as a Sales Analyst, where they analyzed sales data and identified areas for improvement. Alex also provided analytics on customer sales data to determine opportunities for brand and category growth.
Currently, Alex is working as an SBA Marketing Insights and Information Analyst at Busey, where they execute marketing strategies and collaborates with the corporate strategy/projects team to track progress made by the sales team. Alex also gathers, organizes, and filters data from primary and secondary sources.
Alex Trakas earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and a Minor in Modern Languages from DePaul University. This educational journey took place from 2005 to 2009.
