Ralf Mehnert-Meland (he/him/his)

Ralf Mehnert-Meland is an experienced professional with a diverse work history in various industries. Ralf began their career in 1993 as an Associate Professor of Business Law at the Paseka School of Business at Minnesota State University Moorhead. In this role, they taught a range of courses related to business law, ethics, and government regulation.

Ralf then transitioned into the corporate world, serving as General Counsel at Bushel Inc. starting in 2020. In this position, they focused on strengthening and growing the grain industry community through collaboration and innovation.

Prior to that, Ralf held leadership roles at SNP Americas from 2017 to 2018. As President and Managing Director, they facilitated successful digital transformations for companies through the use of SNP's software solutions.

In 2013, Ralf worked as an Assistant Professor of Business Law at Concordia College. During their time there, they taught courses in business law and made valuable contributions to the Offutt School of Business.

From 2016 to 2016, Ralf served as the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at Velocity Technology Solutions. In this position, they leveraged their cloud managed services expertise to manage enterprise applications and drive cost savings for clients.

Between 2010 and 2016, Ralf worked at Intelligent InSites, first as the VP of Partnerships and International Business and later as the Director of Developer/OEM Partnerships. Ralf played a key role in establishing partnerships and expanding the company's presence in international markets.

Ralf's career also includes significant contributions at SAP AG from 2002 to 2010. Ralf held several leadership positions, including Global SME Vice President and Global Director of Software Solution Partners, where they developed and executed partner programs for SAP Business One.

In the year 2000, Ralf joined BeAtHome.Com as the Director of Strategic Alliances and International Business Development. Ralf was responsible for establishing strategic partnerships and executing international expansion strategies.

Earlier in their career, Ralf gained expertise in corporate law and international business development at Great Plains Software. Ralf served as Corporate Counsel and later expanded their role to include international management responsibilities and the establishment of the company's presence in Europe.

Ralf Mehnert-Meland has a diverse education history. Ralf obtained their Juris Doctor degree in Law from an undisclosed institution between 1987 and 1990. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, with a focus on International Marketing, from an undisclosed institution between 1985 and 1987. In 1983, Ralf attended the Berufsbildende Schulen Braunschweig, where they earned a degree in Banking. Before that, they attended Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium from 1974 to 1983, where they obtained their Abitur degree with a specialization in English Language and Literature.

In addition to their formal education, Ralf also holds several certifications. Ralf became a Licensed Attorney in the state of North Dakota in December 2001 and obtained a similar license in the District of Columbia in August 1991. Earlier, in August 1990, they became a Licensed Attorney in the state of Minnesota. Ralf also earned the Bankkaufmann certification from the Braunschweig Industrie und Handelskammer in June 1985. Furthermore, they obtained the HIPAA Awareness for Business Associates certification from HIPAATraining.com in December 2013.
