David Noko

David Noko has a diverse work experience with various companies and roles. David currently serves as the Chairman of the University of the Free State, starting in November 2019. David is also a Non Executive Director at Bushveld Minerals, AVENG MOOLMANS, Gunoma Trading (Pty), Volta Bridge (Pty) Ltd, and African Rainbow Minerals Limited, with their roles starting between 2018 and 2022. Additionally, they are the Managing Director of ESG Advisory (Pty) Ltd since April 2019 and the Managing Director of CelaCorp (Pty) Ltd since October 2010. David has also been a Trustee at Matsakanoko Trust since December 2007. Lastly, they currently hold the position of Chairman and Non Executive Director at Tongaat Hulett, with their roles starting in July and December 2020, respectively.

David Noko obtained a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Wits Technikon, where they studied from 1980 to 1982. David later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Heriot-Watt University. Furthermore, they attended the Institute of Directors South Africa to earn a degree in Chartered Director. Finally, David Noko participated in the Senior Executive Programme at London Business School.
