Director, Strategy And Materiality at Business for Social Responsibility

Beth Richmond has a diverse work experience in various roles related to strategy, sustainability, and economics. Beth started their career at Stratus Consulting as an Associate, where they worked on regulatory impact analyses, voluntary partnerships, and natural resource damage assessments. Beth then worked as an Economist at USDA Economic Research Service for a brief period. Beth also served as the Professional Skills Modules Coordinator at Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. Beth then joined Curtis Packaging Corporation as the Director of Sustainability. Beth has freelance consulting experience as an Economic & Sustainability Consultant before joining BSR, where they have held roles as an Associate, Manager, Associate Director, and currently as the Director of Strategy and Materiality.

Beth Richmond pursued their education starting in 2001 at Colby College, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and Environmental Studies. Beth then furthered their academic qualifications by pursuing a Master's degree in Business and the Environment at Yale University from 2008 to 2010.
