Amanda Owen Mbe

Amanda Owen MBE FRAeS is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and wellbeing, currently serving as a Board Member for the British Safety Council and a member of the BITC Wellbeing Leadership Team. In addition, Amanda holds the position of Vice Chair at Green Corridor and is the Wellbeing, Health and Safety Director at Heathrow, reflecting significant leadership roles in various organizations since 2019. Previous experience includes serving as Business Standards & Resilience Director at Bupa and Global Head of Safety, Health & Wellbeing at the Royal Bank of Scotland Business. Amanda's foundational experience in health and safety leadership was further developed through various roles at BAA, including Head of Health & Safety at Gatwick and Heathrow. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from NEBOSH, an LLM in Employment Law, an MSc in Security Management & IT from the University of Leicester, and a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of West London.
