Colin Van Laar

Colin van Laar is a Business Designer at Business Models Inc., where the focus is on innovation strategy and business model design aimed at creating a positive global impact. Previously, Colin held the position of Team Manager at Solar Team Twente, overseeing a team in the development of a highly efficient solar car and managing a financial portfolio exceeding €1 million. Colin has also represented the Netherlands as a player on the u23 national baseball team, winning a gold medal at the 2017 European Championships and receiving the MVP award. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Strategic Product Design from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design Engineering from the University of Twente. Colleen's experience is further complemented by an internship at TNO, focusing on the future of maritime operations, and work as a student teacher at various high schools.
