Rawan Maki

Rawan Maki serves as the Head of Advisory at The Business of Fashion, with prior roles including Director and Associate Director within the same advisory unit since September 2022. Rawan Maki founded Rawan Maki Design House in February 2017, creating what Vogue Magazine recognized as "the Arab world’s first sustainable fashion brand," known for its geometric statement designs. Rawan Maki's experience spans strategic consulting at Bain & Company in multiple sectors, including retail and private equity, and a project fellowship focusing on energy efficiency in the Arctic. Rawan Maki holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Engineering and Economics from Yale University, a Master's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Imperial College London, and is pursuing a PhD in Design for Sustainability at the London College of Fashion.
