Kevin Malone

Kevin Malone has a diverse work experience in the field of camerawork and photography. Kevin began their career at WLIW PBS in 1993 as a Lighting/Cameraman, working on domestic and international documentaries. Kevin gained extensive on-location experience and developed a passion for film and storytelling through imagery. In 2000, they joined Franchellavision as a Location Sound/Assistant Camera. In 2004, they worked at Patton Productions as a Lighting/Cameraman, where they served as Director of Photography for military-based biographies and family legacy films, requiring extensive travel.

Kevin then joined ABC NYC in 2007 as a Camera/Utility operator. Later that year, they also became a Lighting/Cameraman at Hofstra University, where they worked on high-level interviews and presidential debates until 2014. In 2008, they joined Jupiter Video as a Lighting/Cameraman. In 2009, they became the Director of Photography at The Editor at Large, a popular web video series focused on the residential interior design industry. Kevin worked there until 2019 when they moved on to the United Nations as a Lighting/Cameraman. Currently, they are working at MSNBC as a Camera Operator, starting in January 2020. Kevin's work history showcases their extensive experience and expertise in different aspects of camerawork and photography.

Kevin Malone attended SUNY CORTLAND from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in TV/FILM. Between 1998 and 2001, they attended the International Film & Video Workshops, specializing in 16mm Camera and Advanced Lighting. Prior to college, Kevin attended Holy Trinity Diocesan High School, although specific dates and degrees are not available for this period.
